Tried a freebie of this in the bottleshop and bought a bottle to take home. Peculiar stuff. Stout but 200 day aged in whiskey barrels. 9% too so fair whallop.
Taste of port off it. Nice but wouldnt be drinking regularly

I’ve yet to have one of those bottled stouts that I’d be reaching for a 3rd bottle of.
I drink the 6% stuff regularly and I love it . Great in a beef stew as well .
