They used to sell Leffe on draught in the Strand. They wouldn’t sell you a pint because it was too strong so you’d have to buy 2 glasses and ask for a pint glass.

Paddy and John Bull need pints. Even in hot countries where it’ll be warm and flat after 10 minutes pints it is.

The same thing happened to me in a hotel in Glasgow. I tried to explain to the barman that I wasn’t drunk and could handle a pint. I realised later that anything over a certain % they wouldn’t sell a pint. I was drunk btw.

I did, and one back as well. Including four trains, four busses, two PLF forms, a hotel that doesn’t have a reception.

I’ve a stack of paper an inch thick because the battery on my phone is fecked.

But you know me, I don’t complain….
