im on a celtic forum and some lad was saying that the leading shinty team over there are HP. real sports fans let him know in quite stern terms that no amateur teams can be HP

Of course they should be, but they donât. For a variety of reasons but one common one is the all powerful manager who ignores his support team.
If thats the only thing he disagrees with then you have over reacted a little bit. It may seem silly, and by right it shouldnât be, but hos own management team functions much much better than many many professional teams. I know this because i have been inside them either working or on experience. And many coaches and players in professional set ups would tell you the same.
Its just a typical attitude of people looking at the neon lights and missing the rustic sign along the road.

For what its worth. It would be worth more to me to work oart time with a county team and have my own business than to work for Man united. Financially speaking. Common misconception that thise jobs are well paid and/or even that enjoyable. Many many SS people get out fairly quickly if they can.

Lets say i got 120 a session x3 per week and another 120 between other expenses and gym sessions.
So 480 plus maybe another 700 at work -rent @250. As a base. Sometimes youâll make more.
But thats 930 before tax.
If you were at United you would spend at least a year getting nothing and then eventually you may, if you become completely indispensable, make around 25k euro. There is absolutely no job security. You wonât be listened to, you cannot really have an influence on much. You would be over worked.
You also learn fuck all practically due to the expensive equipment available that tracks everything.
I bet Enda McNulty is a big HP man, I bet heâd HP until it comes out your hole.
