Peak District away above Macclesfield.
They’ve built a reservoir reinforcement up in one bit and dry stone walled the whole thing. A husband and wife team. A beautiful bit of work. Ill photo it the next time.
The Peak District looked incredible when I passed through it. I got the impression it was a bit overrun with tourists in summer? The traffic was mental anytime you met a town
We don’t go near any of the towns really, bar through Buxton on occasion. We stick to the quiet roads. It’s nice up there. Peaceful.
Terrific part of the world for solitude and the ideal place to re-shape in the head Galway’s tilt at Liam.
4 changes in personnel and 3 further positional switches is how I’d see it.
He’s been on the dog and bone to Shefflin already………
Six forwards and push right up on the cork pucout.
Whereabouts exactly? Carna direction?
Wexford, Wexford, the fairest of them all.
20 mile of sand ahead to be walked there. We made it about another 20 yards.
Carraroe. We’re down visiting the young lad. Gone to O’Gradys for lunch. I’d kill a few hours there supping pints some other day. Great spot.
O Gradys has the best Guinness you’d ever drink. I’d often pop over just for Guinness and a chowder at lunchtime. Pints in Donnelly’s in the evening as long as there’s a seat at the bar.
Always busy
Is the ice cream van open?
The Milk Van. Was open alright. A lovely spot.
Unreal ice cream, great spot!
How’s he finding the going at Irish college, he settle into it?
He’s been very homesick. He gets his phone on Monday and Thursday. After the call on Monday last week my wife rang the college on Tuesday morning but they’d already picked up on it and the principal had spoken to him as he hadn’t been eating etc.
He was better on Thursday. He got upset again yesterday before we left.
He needed this and while it’s hard for him he’ll benefit a lot from it. His brain just works a bit different. They were off to Aran Islands today and he was stressed about getting sea sick as he was sea sick last year out fishing.
it’s hard to see him upset but he’ll get through it now and that’s a big result
Will stand to him in time. Hard for all parties but will build character and resilience.
Hope he gets enjoyment from the rest of it.
It is unbelayvable. Seek out the Ballaghbeama Pass if you fancy a drive.
There’s a savage little cove/beach about 20 mins from sneem, i think it’s before Wavecrest etc.
