Portmarnock?
Waiting for the wexicans.
Curracloe?
Uo the back road from Kildorrery? Castle Oliver there.
He has about 40 minutes. I’m in Mahon Bridge.
A box full of old 78s and plastic junk from Woolworths and Lidl. I wouldn’t bother my hole.
There’s a lovely bottle of sloe gin port on the dresser. Well worth the effort, if I may say so myself.
I forgot about the home brew kit as well.
And that’s probably in the unlocked shed.
There’s a practically unused B&D drill and. 50 bit-box just inside the back door. Don’t waste too much time looking for jig-saws or belt sanders or other DIY shit.
DeWalt all the way. The name translates as ‘the wood’, which tells you all you need to know. Black and Decker tools are not great to be honest.

The lad in the shop told me they were made by Makita. Anyway it was cheap but as the man said, live horse eat grass.
I know DeWalt are the kingpins of that stuff nowadays but I remember when we got electricity in 1966 the 1st thing Boxty Mór bought was a Bosch drill.
No worries about fridges or kettles - No Siree a Bosch drill. It has fallen off walls, been dropped climbing ladders and been extensively used and abused but it’s as good today as it was then.
Things made then we’re made to last not like modern shite that seem to have a chip built in that causes exhaustion after 40 months when your guarantee has run out.

Sean-Ironmoth has a Hilti drill that was bought in the mid-seventies. When I was building the house, one of the tradies was struggling to drill through a lintel with their drill. The auld buck was summoned with the Hilti relic and it chewed through it. Like your Bosch, this thing has been dropped from heights, fallen from moving vehicles, etc. A serious bit of gear. Hard to beat the Germans. Or the Liechtensteiners for that matter.
