Hmm, are you not with the Brazilian one tomorrow night? :strokechin:
  epic 20 minutes detective work by the Macattack…cleaning house at a rate of knots !!..
A threesome maybe
Was supposed to be. She’s cooking dinner and invited me over but I’ve had to cancel as we’ve a work do on and I won’t be able to escape without lying through my teeth. And I like this girl too much to be able to lie convincingly to her.
Do you still think about the French bird?
I do of course. She was the best ever.
When was the last contact with her?
She got married in June 2011. A whirlwind romance, it seems. I emailed her to say good luck and goodbye.
We’re still friends on Facebook, but thankfully she never seems to use it.
When I get out of this rut, I’ll catch her when she gets divorced, or go and find a bird of equal or greater quality.
A new romance is exactly what you need now mate. Get back on plentyoffish but take your time this time around, build up a few weeks of mails and flirting and see what she is really about. Fuck this out lark and hanging around ladies shitters, that’s so 2009.
For what it’s worth I had some friends in New York who believed that a failed first marriage was a necessity. By getting married you are showing that someone was willing to be with you. By having a failed marriage out of the way the second marriage was more likely to be successful.
One of my close friends managed to get through his first marriage in 6 months. He and his wife were both managers in the same place. He had an affair with a graduate employee who just joined (she was a cracker and better than the wife). The wife found out and they haven’t spoken since. He’s now 30 and happier than ever.
A happy story for a sad thread.
in fairness, that’s a fairly depressing happy story. Really backs the whole ‘modern life is rubbish’ tone that’s been going on the last few pages.
Totally agree CM, a month into a new venture and i am liking it so far

there is something truly pathetic about that… :strokechin:
Is he still with the new piece of ass, Tinnion?
Was his name Roger Sterling? :strokechin:
Jesus I feel like utter shit today. Got smashed at a charity dinner, The Bleeding Horse and then D2. Sick, sober, sorry and skint now.
Ending up in D2 always makes the hangover that much worse-a sort of dirty guilty feeling for the day.
Did you end up in a nice hospitable muff by any chance SS?
It’s an awful place. Fucking Jagermeister. I wouldn’t mind but I seem to have blown an extraordinary amount of money given I was eating free food and drinking free drink most of the night. Where does it all go to mate? It was one of those night where women were in tears because their men wouldn’t come home out of it. Messy.
