Got a call AND and text last month from a yummy mummy of a young lad I coached from u12s to minor. Anyhow. Little Gary moves away. Won an A County final schools, up the country in a cunt of a county. Either way I was dead chuffed that his mam and lil Gary thought to ring me. … Sure an old spastic from the Internet. Anyhow they’d reckoned if I hadn’t set Gary right about the basics of scores etc, he’d have no medal.
I was so chuffed that Gary thought to ring me it couldn’t get better. BUT didn’t his mam and dad appear at the door tonight with a bottle of jemmie for me. They’re back home for the Christmas. I’m still emotional here.
