Interesting fact about the aviva stadium

Taken from the article I linked in my first post.

GAA finals routinely feature on the top ten most watched programmes of the year, with the 2005 Football Final between Tyrone and Kerry still holding the record for the most watched game ever (887,000 viewers).

Earlier in the season, seniors semi and quarter finals usually attract upwards of 400,000 viewers, while club championships (which continue to be held by TG4) attract 50,000 to 150,000 viewers.

Just over 100 million people watched the Champions League Final and you think 250 million watched the Europa final

You complete and utter tard.

you idiot- that figure doesnt include emerging markets

Eh ya it does.

“The Champions League has been better able to exploit the large burgeoning populations of the Asia-Pacific region,” said Kevin Alavay, the report’s director.

“While the Super Bowl has secured free-to-air broadcasting deals in a number of important European markets such as the UK, France and Germany, its distribution and popularity in the key Asia-Pacific region lags far behind the Champions League.”

You finished making a show of yourself yet?

asia pacific isnt an emerging market you racist pig

I watched the Champions League final too so you can add 1 onto that toal.

+1

NCC is rattled here.

I heard a very scary crush developed around the exits after the rugby Saturday night?
Anyone here at it?

Yeah I was and can confirm you’re right. Expect Joe Duffy to be full about it today. Anyone elderly or claustraphobic would have been in right trouble. Happened around the DART line. They left the rails across the track which meant everyone had to go through the tunnel. The problem was that when you came out of the tunnel you had crowds coming from 3 directions so you couldn’t move anywhere. Seriously bad planning by the security companies who whoever was in charge.

I was with a few rugby heads discussing this morning, and one of them commented: “They were lucky it wasn’t the soccer crowd”

That’s what everyone said on Saturday night as well. I’d say the Home Nations game against them up north should prove to be a right oul disaster!

pity a few 1000 rugger bugger wernt wiped out on saturday

My feet were in a pool of water for most of the game.

They should really have put a lot more thought into the entrance and exit strategy.

Great to see the Munster Mercenaries beaten again on Saturday night. The sooner that sham is shown up for what it is the better. “Muuuunster, Muuuuunster” Fuck off.

Rugger bugger cunts trying to walk over each other to get out , typical from those sick fuckers, jesus i hate that fucking hobby and all the west brit cunts that follow it.

The firework display and resultant smoke was fucking comical.
People on Joe complaining that the lights were turned out as they were walking down from the high seats.
Apparently there will be a major disaster at this stadium. Too many red, yellow and blue jackets concerned about protecting the pitch.
‘You can replace turf in the morning but you cant replace people’

I said at the start that I thought the tunnels were very narrow they dont have much scope for overflow.

no one listens to you

next time you have something important to say relay it through rintintin

Fortunately I rarely have anything of importance to say
