Its a load of bollox which Boris Johnson is currently holed up trying to twist to his advantage.
When Labour MP Paula Sheriff stood up in the Commons in 2019 to describe how she was subjected to constant abuse and death threats, Boris Johnson replied “humbug”.
That could not be said of David Amess.

This also reminds me that I want to take up martial arts again in the new year. Maybe Jiu Jitsu this time.
There’s a phenomenon called Bystander Effect whereby witnesses to an event all stand frozen waiting for/expecting someone else to react. When one does.react, others follow but it’s often that first to respond is the issue.
We are but sheep basically.
