Has been an interesting week here and it is boiling nicely for the end of the month…caoimhaoin losing it on the Cork hurlers thread and the munster thread, while auld tiger could well get a nomination after some sterling work…Bandage may well be back in the hunt after his little cabbage munchers remark…
I wonder are the alliance going to come out with a statement as to who they are voting for…

well the only saving grace for runty is that he held his hands up and said if he was wrong he would expect to be IOTM…if he had said that we could all go fuck ourselves and tried to fight his way out of it then he would be a nailed on cert…
I don’t really see that as a get out clause. It was a high risk/high yield manouvre that didn’t pay off and should be punished IMHO. If everyone added a caveat of “well I could be wrong” to everything they said then we wouldn’t have any decent fueds
I know that but normally the IOTM isn’t won because someone has gotten something wrong, it is normally their reaction to getting something wrong that gets them the votes…
I would expect the likes of Puke, dancarter and caoimhaoin to feature very strongly this month.

I think it would be unfair for anyone* who was involved in the discussion on the munsster v new zealand game to be up for IOTM as both sides held views that were polar opposite to each other and I don’t think someone desrves IOTM because they hold a different view…

MBB, Wexford is very much on the southside in Irish geographical terms. And looking at Wexford specifically, I can confirm that Gordon’s homeplace on the Clonard Road is indeed on the southside of the town.

sorry flano but what i ment by that was being in the business end of it and up in the running for IOTM and getting votes for it…that was what i was implying, sorry if you inferred something else out of it…I have no objection with anyone getting nominated even for the most trivial of things…
I can only go on what I know MBB. And that’s that Wexford is on the southside of Ireland. And D’Arcy’s folks’ gaff is on the southside of the Slaney in Wexford town.
As an aside, Wexford has an Opera Festival.
