Islamic State extremists released a video last night purportedly showing the beheading of a second American journalist, Steven Sotloff, and warning President Obama that as long as US airstrikes against the militant group continue, âour knife will continue to strike the necks of your people.â
The footage - depicting what the US said appeared to be a sickening act of brutality - was posted two weeks after the release of video showing the killing of James Foley and days after Mr Sotloffâs mother pleaded for his life.
Barak Barfi, a spokesman for the Sotloff family, said that the family had seen the video but that authorities have not established its authenticity.
âThe family knows of this horrific tragedy and is grieving privately. There will be no public comment from the family during this difficult time,â Mr Barfi said.

some facebook run by the crowd who organise the marches in Dublin, a few complete lunatics on it, there was a fella on there one night posting about the virtues of Arab Nationalism and how he wanted the spirit of Tahir Square in Dublin, i suppose i was a bit sarcastic when i asked him was he ok with gang rape, mass imprisonment and martial law but i didnt expect him to try personally contact me and wish pretty horrific consequences on my wife and kid
