Hmmm, disappointing, had high hopes for him, only dipped in and out of the game, and saw fuck all of him on the ball.
Pedestrian in position. Took too long to get the ball out of his feet and gave it away a bit. Odd nice pass there too so bit of a mixed bag but poor overall with the ball. Didn’t have to do a whole lot defensively but unconvincing performance.
Well you could argue if we don’t get there, which is highly likely as we would seem to be way down the list against the other 2nd placed teams.
Is it over 2 legs ya, the play-offs that is?

i dont engage in arguments
How did Gibson get on tonight Larry?
Would you say he is a better option to either Whelan or Andrews?
Poor really to be honest. Might be harsh but seems to fancy himself a bit too much for me. Could have got stuck in better and offered little actually. Andrews seemed busier and he was quiet in the match.
Why engage in something that your not up to. Wise move NCC, better knowing your place really.
I agree with you here Larry Gibson almost looked out of his depth in this team , he should have been bossing that midfield but he looks a distinctly average player.
Rintintin, can you confirm that Andy Burton has been taken out?
Trapp asked which players played well and mentioned Westwood, O’Dea and Lawrence who he said got a good goal and played well. Also said Gibson had great game which I maybe missed.
There is a unit from west Limerick poised on the clondel road to take him out on his way to Shannon.
How did Stephen Kelly get on Larry?
He was tidy enough and defended well. Safe but reliable. O’Dea and himself looked our two best defenders and St Ledger made couple of blocks but played one terrible pass at end which we could have conceeded a goal from.
Good work, keep us informed please.
Just back in the door from that tripe. Nolan was woeful at left-back. Gibson very disappointing, Andrews was much better. Was also disappointed when Keogh was on the ball. Doyle looked our most dangerous player. O’Dea and Best were good when they came on.
Its good to win and keep a clean sheet anyway I guess but South Africa must be absolute rank if they couldnt get even a draw against that Irish side tonight.
Were many tickets on sale for Italy game Dunph?
Hopefully Finnan and Steven Reid can get 3 or 4 games each under their belts before the Italy and Montenegro matches…
I don’t know Larry i didn’t wait around to see, i couldn’t get out of there fast enough…
SA had something ridiculous like over 70 per cent possession in first half. They had lots of shots but not one on target in 90 minutes. We appear to rarley leave ourselves exposed in deep areas.
