Ireland V England - May 29th - Wembley

From Miguel Delaney in twitter

Keane says he’s “surprised” at many of the politics surrounding English players and not wanting to play for their country.

Keane: “I want to play for my country more than anything.”

Rocko Can you bring back the tri colour smiley

God bless Rob

Grand team that.
The team’s just been announced:

Forde,
Coleman, O’Shea, St Ledger, Kelly,
Walters, McCarthy, Whelan, McGeady,
Keane, Long.
Bar McGeady, that’s probably about the strongest team we could have put out which makes a pleasant change. Decent looking team to be fair.

Will one of ye please tear up a Wembley seat as a sovereign for me if things go pear shaped, please.

Who would you play instead of McGeady? He’s one of the few that plays at a decent standard week in week out ffs. Are you Kibman in disguise?

I’d play anyone ahead of him bud-I think he is shit. Granted he tries to be positive but I have never seen an international player give the ball away as much as he does. I would genuinely play Stephen Hunt or James McLean ahead of him as limited as they both are.

Stephen fucking Hunt. You are probably one of these retards in the crowd in Lansdowne who cheers when he comes on - as if he is Messi. I could never understand that. It seems the more direct you are and the more you run with your head down the more you appeal to the Irish football supporters.

He is a woefully limited footballer. McGeady is far superior.

I’m not your bud, you creep.

McGeady offers pace and the ability to take on and beat men, we are not exactly blessed with these kinds of players. He is a genuine threat and is often marked out of games as such… My only gripe with him would be that he doesn’t track back to help his full back as much as he should but even that has improved in recent times.

Forgot to mention that the mutant creep Willie Collum from Scotland will be tomorrow evening’s referee.

Signing out.

Read my post again there pal-did I not say he was a limited footballer? No big fan of Hunt or McLean but they’ve been as effective for Ireland in certain games as McGeady has ever been. How many goals and assists does McGeady have for Ireland? Small enough numbers I’d say yet I am a retard for questioning his inclusion in the team according to your good self. He was the next bright hope when he was starting out but his career for Ireland has been has been one of mainly disappointing performances and giving the ball away cheaply. Much like Hunt and to a lesser extent McLean.

Advantage Scumland

That’s the most balanced side Trap has put out in a while. Be fucking great if we could stuff them fuckers

He had the most assists of any Irish player in the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign.

Indeed. But, like most others, he was pathetic in the finals themselves. He needed to really take on a leadership mantle at that stage - he’s 27 now - but he hasn’t delivered on his early career promise. I’ve lost patience with him, albeit he’s been injured for a lot of Ireland games since then.

+1. We’re in complete agreement yet again buddy.

I see you didn’t reply to the post about him having the most assists of any Irish player in qualifying as it disproved your statement

I see you’re a bit thick.

Good response. Your statement has been proven to be wrong and you were talking shit
