if he is not going to pick Macmillan or Kilduff then i see no reason why he would pick Rooney
Kilduff is doing it on a higher level then Rooney now scoring frequently in the Europa league (even making team of the week) , Aberdeen are so poor that they lost a qualifier leg in Luxembourg and were put out eventually by Maribor in the qualifiers… Ronney is playing at a very low level domectically ( Hearts were put out of Europe this season by a Malteese side) and id see no reason to pick him over Kilduff, Macmillan, Sean Maguire ( who is banging them in for cork and the irish U-21s) and say Graham Cummins who is at St. Johnstone

they’re squad is heavily made up of Dinamo Tblisi players and a few BATE, Legia and from the lower echelons of the Ukranian and Russian leagues,
