Ireland v Greece - UEFA EURO 2024 Qualifying

He can swing a ball in tbf

Youā€™d take a draw with both hands in the evidence of that first half.

Thatā€™s a corner

The Doc will do well to get a move to Millwall at this stage.

Has West Ham written all over him

Cullen & Molumbey just not up to it here

Iā€™d say Greece have had more touches and completed more passes in our box than we have in their half

Could do with Knights ā€œengineā€ in the midfield

Hard to see Greece not score a couple at least in the second half. From the cursory bit Iā€™ve looked at anyway.

Iā€™d say itā€™ll end 3-2 with us notching a late consolation which Stephen Kenny will furiously and awkwardly talk up.

Kennyā€™s in game management is fairly amateur. Heā€™s done nothing to resolve the issues. The way they have a front 3 with the wide attackers hugging the touchline has caused us all sorts of problems. Doherty & Oā€™Dowda donā€™t know whether to engage the overlapping full backs & leave the attackers in space behind or stay in a back five. Doherty & Smallbone have been uncertain all game as to whether the latter should drift across onto Tsimikas or Doherty needs to push forward onto him. When Doherty goes then Collins is getting dragged wide. Itā€™s reminiscent of the bother Big Eck caused Martin Oā€™Neill when the huns combatted Celticā€™s 3-5-2 with a 4-3-3.

Mikey Johnston on @Bandage

Spock has done something at least, bringing Jinky on and hooking Idah.

A Kenny team that canā€™t even keep the ball doesnā€™t offer much

Lovely goal. We havenā€™t got out of our half

Good goal

Awful defending

Aye the lambasters have it right. A shambles

Braindead from Oā€™Dowda.

Football we can only aspire to
