Ireland v Greece - UEFA EURO 2024 Qualifying

Aye only 40 odd thousand last Sunday but sure.

All Limerick people

That’s very true.

You need a street footballer or two in the middle of the park

They’ll be telling us we were going to qualify anyway

Is he a coaching genius?

It’s a pity Brendan Rodgers is Celtic bound. He may deem himself a bit young for international management yet but he would be an ideal appointment for us. He’d actually have us playing progressive football. TOD and the OTB lads would be smitten with his interview technique too.

What’s the going rate for a household name on the International Football management circuit?

Get Michael O Neill in.

He’s back with the North. We should have moved on him 6 months ago. Gus Poyet was a shrewd appointment by the Greeks. Did fairly well with Brighton and Sunderland.

They aren’t compact. Too much space between lines of defence, mid, attack. That is one of 3 things, 1) can’t coach, 2) players dont respect him so dont get into shape quick enough 3) mix of both. Id say its a mix. All are impossible to overcome.

Look at Tipp this year compared to last.

The worst thing is nearly the delusions of grandeur, split centrebacks on goalkicjs and they cant do the nuts and bolts.

Kenny is an entitled fucker, to play this way without earning the right.

Hughes is a fundamentally better coach, leagues ahead even.

What we need is a 64 team worlde cup and a 32 team Euros

We still wouldn’t qualify

Brother, someone fucking competent would be a start. Theyre setting the team back decades.
