Was Wilson the only fit center half option to partner O’Shea tonight?

Not sure, think Dunne, Clark and St Ledger are all missing. McShane and Alex Pearce are also on the squad. It has been a while since Wilson played centre half, back with Pompey probably. Hope he goes alright but would rather him at left back ahead of Ward

Agreed. Hughes has being using him on left side of midfield i thought, center back now is a bit of an ask. Pearce deserved his chance.

Where is Greg Cunningham these days? A few years ago he was being touted as the person to nail down the left back spot. City had him him out on loan but not sure if they sold him.

Struggling with Bristol City, Forest had him but let him go with Sean O Driscoll that time. Not a long term solution to the tricky left back position

Had a decent spell on loan at Forest and then signed for Bristol City where he is first choice but they were relegated to League one last season
