Andy Reid on:clap:
Walters deserves all the credit there:clap:
We are the best:pint:
Well worked goal.
Canât wait for the draw for the Euros. Would love to get the North.
Reid and Coleman have been fantastic
This has been a breath of fresh air!
Walters and Reid have done well since coming on. Added plenty of impetus
Stokes pulls a solid save out of the keeper
McGeady has been Irelandâs only creative threat for about 5 years. He created a lot more than Hoolahan
Who got the 3rd goal?
Long
Good start. Nobody played poorly and we had some decent performances from McGeady, Whelan, McClean and Coleman in the second half, while Walters, Stokes and Reid looked lively off the bench.
Latvia were terrible but you can only bet what is put in front of you. Hard to gauge much given the poor opposition but it is a decent start anyway
Latvia are gank but youâd have to be happy with that

Pretty much agree with all that. Thought everybody played well really, Hoolahan and Robbie linked up well too. Not sure Robbie up on his own would work against better opposition, but they were shit and looked like they didnât really care. In short, nothing to get too excited about due to the quality of opposition, but an enjoyable night at the Aviva.
FOAD
Say please you prick.
FOADYP?
I donât expect this management team to be as successful as the last one which won its first match 3-0 at home.
Thought we played well last night and passed the ball around but Latvia were shit.
The keeper should have saved McGeadyâs shot for the goal. To be beaten on your near post from a shot outside the box is unforgivable unless is a top corner jobbie.
Tuesday night will be more of a test against Poland.
