Bridge Tavern in Summerhill is the only decent pub. Well, not strictly true, but…it’s closest to my abode.

Could be 10 thousand Polish supporters in the Aviva at least, what do ye reckon?

So what if there is - they won’t be able to compete with the raucous atmosphere that Irish fans create

Shoes off for the Boys In Green…

The singing section will batter them.

@The Big Cheese, what’s the probable Irish starting team and what’s your preferred selection?

I can see nothing other than Polish win. I’ve lumped on 2-0 to the Poles.

Dessie Cahill had an interview with a chap from the Polish Embassy this morning. A classic Live at 3 style interview, interviewing yer man as if he was a ninety year old deaf woman despite the chap having better English than Dessie and then summing up yer mans comments for the broadcast audience as if they too were 90 year old deaf women. Apparently the chap from the embassy had never heard of the game of rugby before he came to Ireland (which I found hard to believe as it is one of the most popular sports in the world) but now he is an avid follower of Irelands heroes, both men and women despite not being able to understand the rules. So your typical rugby fan then in a nutshell.

Just out of curiosity , who are you referring to here pal?

Dont know and don’t care. Dropping our captain and greatest ever footballer was the final straw for me. We are at a thing called nothing with these two jokers over us. John O’Shea’s late goal in Germany painted over a multitude of sins.

I have never had so much as apathy towards the Irish football team as I currently do. Bring back Trapp

When I go for good, you’ll be one of the few I’ll miss around here. That’s a wonderful post that has destroyed half the board and half the country in the process. God bless you Fagan ODowd.

WTF fuck? Praising a post that claimed rugby football is a sport.

My hip is fucked. Self diagnosis- labral tear… What should my symptoms be if i’ve correctly called it?

Awful pain, even when having leisurely sexual intercourse in the missionary position.

check.

Groin issues?

I reckon team will be:

Forde
Coleman O’Shea Clark Wilson
McGeady Whelan McCarthy McClean
Walters
Keane

I’d go for:

Given
Coleman O’Shea Keogh Wilson
McGeady Whelan Quinn McCarthy Brady
Keane
