Yes they appeal to the selfish type. For every road that gets done in Kerry there is a more worthy project ignored somewhere else in the country due to lack of funding. Fuckwits that vote for these chancers donāt get that or donāt care.

So do the Healy Raes. The reason they do is because there are lucrative state contracts they can tender for. Someone who likes to pay for something twice would be in line with the typical IQ of a Healy Rae voter.
