Presidential Election Thread. Aka, Should the deer in the Phoenix Park be getting worried?

He came across even worse when he was asked about his no-show at the declaration of Higgins’ victory, saying that people were nit picking and he was getting sick of this sort of rubbish. A cantankerous, peevish man and a truly awful choice for what was essentially a personality contest.

Hes a typical Fine Gaeler in other words. [quote=“Watch The Break, post: 598529”]

The behind the scenes doc on the presidential campaigns is on RTE at 9.35 tonight.

Gay Mitchell is our best hope to be the Gogarty of this show.

McGuinness had a cracking looking bird on his bus there.

A Fenian Princess.

Who is she?

Indeed. I got a laugh out of them lashing powder onto Gallagher’s bald head before the debate. Amazing that Mitchell even managed to fuck up that one moment where McGuinness was nailed by Vincent Browne.

They don’t seem to have any cameras with Mitchell, which is frankly a huge disappointment.

The sight and sound of Mitchell leaves such a bad taste in the mouth, advertisers probably asked he be shown as little as possible lest their products be subconsciously tainted by association for viewers.

Would have been cracking TV to get a behind the scenes look at his delusion though. No cameras with Dana either - would also have been great entertainment to get the full story behind the murder attempt on the bus.

Hook is some tosser

Behind the scenes at the Frontline should be good :pint:

Did Dana ever get involved in politics in her own community, what with her passion for representing people and for speaking out?

Fionnan Sheehan is a miserable cut of a man.

+1

Did anyone see the ceremony earlier? Michael D made a grand speech, alot of which was As Gaeilge. He’s a fine orator.

I saw it. It was a great speech. Delighted that he won it. Seems a thoroughly alright sort.

Who wrote the speech for him I wonder ?

He’s a cunt imo

His unfortunate anti bloodsports stance aside, he’s a thoroughly alright sort.

First day in office brings a 4-0 playoff victory
