Irish soccerball nil - That boy Jinky will save us (Part 2)

The useless cunts couldnā€™t even give Vol Jimmy a proper send off :weary:

That was awful to watch there.

Gave it his best. Didnā€™t work out. Very hard to watch the interview there, clearly suffering. Heā€™ll never get a job anywhere near this level again.

Is he a nice guy?

I genuinely think he is, just very socially awkward it seems.

Where and when can we watch Brazil Argentina?

He might go back down to the Ireland minors or something now

Who was the last Ireland manager that both fans and media all got behind and generally always supported?

Big Mick II and MON were hounded by RTE and OTB
Trapp was hounded by both
Stan was laughed at by all
Kerr seemed to lose the supporters by being too conservative
Big Mick I did well till Saipan and that ended him
Jack was regularly rounded on by media

Iā€™ve no memory of Eoin Hands tenure or before this. Anyone Iā€™m missing bar the odd game Noel King caretook?

When you look at Kennys record i dont think there was even one result during his tenure that could compare with Norn iron beating a proper team like Denmark the other night.
The Norths players are certainly no better than what kenny had available.

IMichael ONeill much better manager ā€¦id take him if he was available

Eoin Hand didnā€™t manage the team. Brady, Stapleton and a couple of others did.

At the end they were calling the shots alright.

Ireland is a rugby country. We canā€™t really be expected to bate New Zealand at the soccer.

I donā€™t feel sorry for him after all his excuses and digs at previous management teams to make himself look better

He set the bar too high for himself

We need this sort of thinking, we need Warnock

Tony Pulis for Ɖire please.

Warnock, Pulis, all we need now is someone to mention Alan Pardew and the mid-noughties bingo card of dull uninspiring football tactics is complete.

Paul Jewel is an interesting and experimental kind of guy

It should be between Warnock and Big Sam, to go anywhere else will be the death of Irish football
