Irish soccerball nil - That boy Jinky will save us (Part 2)

A positive first half

The second goal by Troy the man Parrot was genuine quality

Any chances the Jockos have had came from us tippy tapping the ball around

Obafemi’s ball was top class in fairness. Delighted for Parrott. All came from a long kick out as well.

Jason Knight has been good too.

I can’t recall Ireland scoring a goal of such genuine quality for a long time in terms of there seemingly being nothing on and then one pass and one finish unlocks a team in devastating fashion.

A volleyed goal Robbie Keane scored against Israel in the 2-2 draw in June 2005 springs to mind.

Ireland just don’t score goals like that.

There were some similarities with Brady’s goal in Lille. Although more of a cross that day than a pass.

Unreal

OBAFEMIIIIIIIIIII!!!

Ah lads!

How could anyone with two eyes in their head not start Obafemi?

Have it!!

A star is born

How on earth was this chap not in the squad for the last two years.

He fucking pegged that :flushed::clap:

Absolutely unreal. What a strike. Obafemi has it. Credit Alan Browne there in the build up too.

Come out ye lambasters.

We need to give them an unmerciful beating here. Set them back decades

Oh my goodness

Lambasters could question why Obafemi is only starting games now. By far our most dangerous and in form attacker.

He dropped Hendrick and started Obafemi which everyone was calling for in fairness

This team needed a striker with balls. He’s got balls so big it literally hurts.
