They camped out on a farmer’s land at home a few years back. They’d terrorised him in the past and he was at his wits end with them. He’d the shotgun in the jeep heading down to them ready to go all out when he’d a brainwave.

The lads woke up the following morning to find boulders blocking every entrance / exit to his field. He casually dropped by to them at lunchtime on that day to tell them that if they liked his land so much they may as well stay there for a while and went on his way. I think he left them stuck inside for 3-4 days before letting them out. He told them the next time they tried it the boulders would be permanent. He never heard from them again.

I had to drive into a halting site and get some cunt out of the bed at 10am a few weeks back. The thick cunt had blocked a right away into a bit of land with his van. I had to wait till the cunt put on his trousers, and had to watch his missus walze around in a string vest roaring at a flock of ferral kids. A year old van and a new caravan to him. The dole stretches a long way these days it seems.

A couple of days before the caravan appeared, a different estate down the road from us had a visit from a family of travelling sales people. This estate has a big water fountain at the front. These travelling people were going door to door selling sets of knives. They didn’t get much business by all accounts. The matriarch of the selling group decided on her way out of the estate, to grab a quick wash in the fountain. The caravan that appeared days later was the same family.

A caravan appeared down the road from our housing estate on Monday. I’d say they were there about an hour before the whole neighbourhood knew. Two of the houses in the estate are Gardai in Dublin. Couple of phone calls and a couple of hours later the local Gardai were over to the new arrivals. We learned that they were told the land was private and they need to be gone by Thursday. Wednesday morning, caravan gone. Massive relief.

The owner of the land has since dug out a one foot trench around this land to prevent the same thing happening again. He has plans to build a couple of bungalows on the land. This has accelerated his plans.
