Jack Ross' Mackems Thread

Big game tonight as we host Man Utd in the first leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final.

Marco Alonso makes his Black Cats debut tonight.

I hope Borini is played through the middle but would deem it more likely it will be Giaccherini behind Fletcher with Borini on the left.

Good start by Gustavoā€™s boys.

Great performance from us so far. Even Larsson playing well but his delivery has been shocking from dead ball situations.

Ki has been sensational once again.

Get in.

Philip Bardsley gives the Black Cats the lead.

1-0.

Yeehaw!

Looks like a Ryan Giggs own goal from viewing the replay.

Even better.

Vidic equalises with a header from a corner.

Another awful free kick from Larsson. Borini actually wanted to take that but Larsson wouldnā€™t let him. Ki hit a few good frees in his time at Celtic as did Borini at Swansea - about time Larsson is told to fuck off away from them.

Larsson denied by a great save from De Gea.

Liverpoolā€™s Fabio Borini restores our lead from the penalty spot.

Rafael extremely lucky not to walk.

He stood on a lads toe for ffs. What kind of a woofters game is this?

Tom Cleverley . What a player.

He shernt a dun that, poor lil feller.

:clap::clap::clap:

Big game away to fellow relegation battlers Fulham today.

3 points are needed. I would go with the same team that started against Man Utd in midweek, Larsson is the only player who Iā€™d consider replacing. Adam Johnson did well in midweek but I think he makes a better contribution as an impact sub. Weā€™re close to signing Santiago Vergini, a 25 year old Argentinian centre back from Newells Old Boys for Ā£500k.

Gustavo also had a pop at British players, blasting them for being happy to sit on the bench and collect big wages rather than be playing.

Johnson and Colback in for Giaccherini and Larsson.

Fletcher continues to be very lazy up front, heā€™s not good enough to not be putting a shift in up front.
