We have certainly turned the corner. We should push on now and win the Coca-cola cup and secure European qualification for next season.
That makes no sense.
What does make sense is the notable improvement we have made since I lent my backing to Gustavoâs Black Cats. As usual you didnât have the foresight to predict what I can and are suitably seething.
Mannone with a great save.

Aye, a random internet poster is the reason for Sunderlands about turn in fortunes

Thatâs a mugging off.
I foresaw Sunderlandâs turn in fortunes as I am a very knowledgeable poster with a supreme confidence in his judgement. You wouldnât know about individuality if it jumped up and bit you on the arse.
Since you started this thread Sunderland have won one league game. It isnât that much of an upturn in fortunes
They beat Man United, too, that surely counts for something?
Actually waitâŚ
This is only the beginning.
Probably a bit lucky not to be sent off but he played very well.
His role (along with Ki) in Johnsonâs second goal tonight was immense. Gustavo is beginning to get the very best out a limited bunch, few more faces in January and Iâm extremely confident about us climbing up the table.

Well done on this thread, it has been a roaring success
Going to miss our big clash against Southampton today where the two best keepers in the league will face off. Hereâs hoping Vito, Fabio, Ki and the boys can give Gustavo a much needed win.
Lee Cattermole is an awful scrote
Colback and Fletcher replace Larsson and Altidore. New signings Ustari and Vergini on the bench.
Ki is magnificent.
Great effort from Borini moments ago which went just over.
Cattermole had a 2 on 2 there with Fletcher but his sheer shiteness saw him totally incapable of knowing what to so in the situation. He is fucking dreadful.
Be as well be on his own than have Fletcher with him who has the mobility of a 90 year old awaiting a hip replacement.
Doesnât make Cattermoles utter shiteness any more forgivable. He nearly tripped over himself trying to switch feet.
The defensive work Borini gets through is phenomenal.
