You have to have great respect for people like James and @croppy_boy openly admitting they are on the spectrum.
Fair play to Jimmy. Hopefully other footballers and sports stars openly disclose their diagnoses too in the future. Thereâs always been rumours of Messi either being on the spectrum or having ADHD. Nothing would do more for awareness and acceptance of both if he were to be assessed and diagnosed.

If I meet one more sharp elbowed middle class successful professional who tells me they e been diagnosed with âbeing on the spectrumâ or having âADHDâ Iâll throw up.
We are all odd. We are all on the spectrum and we all have âautisticâ traits.
There was no ADHD in the ghoulâs classroom.

On a positive note ref James.
I lived in the same estate for yrs.
Heâs never forgotten his humble roots.
To the extent whilst he last year he was confronted by the news that a local couple were sleeping on the streets ( unheard of in Derry)
He immediately booked and paid for their accomodation in a local hotel.
Caused the local council embarrassment until finally they housed the poor ppl

Youâre talking to someone who was diagnosed with mild aspergers at 26 Flatty. It answered a lot of questions in my life that I didnât know.

Hey pirlo I reckon half my class in national school had some sort of thing going on,as the same ppl were always getting bate ,and always in trouble,
But were really great craic ,but innocent enough,but bate stupid and bullied at times
( Weâd 63/4 kids in our first class

Heâs a genuinely great lad. I only fired off because I had one of the most notorious witches who has elbowed to the top of the tree on the phone the other night telling me she had just been diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 50. Because she wanted something I couldnât immediately give her. (not that).
