He had a fabulous spell in early 2012 when he first broke into the team at Sunderland. Was in and amongst the goals and looked like a real player. I remember an auld lad in the crowd pretending to cry when he came on against Spain at the Euros. I liked to think at the time that it was a mock reaction at Trap finally giving youth its chance but I’d say it was more so to do with the hammering we were taking. Himself, Coleman and McCarthy were hyped around that time but Trap was resisting the urge to use them much.
What happened?? Kenny dropped him for this but has promised him a farewell v new Zealand? That means he’ll be in the squad for the Netherlands game a few days before I presume. Strange one all round
Thank you, James. Hard to imagine an Irish team getting a result like this ever again. Hard to believe it’s only 5 years ago.
I can and we will.
I don’t think beating a side like Wales is beyond the realms of the imagination.
Admins??
Not long now till the hate fest kicks off. What will his new bosses make of it.
I’d say there’ll be a full episode on that in Season 3

This would be the same Welch who voted overwhelmingly against independence from England and overwhelmingly in favour of brexit ?
No, these are Welsh.

Maybe these ones voted differently?
Statistics suggest they didn’t.
