I concur - but FSG dont want to buy players in their peak (28+) They want to buy young and have Liverpoolo fully self proficient, and not have to pump millions in every year. Football doesnt quite work like that thoā¦ but they are treating it as a long term project, not a quick fix.
But the long term projects are hard to make work when you have 3 or 4 other teams taking the quick fix route and stocking up every year.
