We donāt know it wasnāt cleared first. All weāre getting is sensationalist biased news with a clear motive to to get at Delaney.
In my opinion, Delaney is a cunt but the reporting of this has been an absolute disgrace. Equally Delaneyās effort last week was an absolute disgrace.
Iāve seen the workings of loads of Mickey Mouse operations as a result of my photo copying gig and that sort of credit card spend is not that off the wall but the context is sorely missing.

Exactly. Itās off the wall no matter what. Even if it was āclearedā by his organisation, its disgusting. Delaney is Haughey with none of the (considerable) upsides. Kiss a few babies to keep the plebs happy, whilst the gravy train rolls on.
Itās not his money, and lads messing the keyboard over him buying a few pints. Guess where he got the cash?
He is a weasel who has had the remarkably good fortune to run a relatively tiny organisation powered mainly by goodwill and volunteers, which happened to have a golden goose by way of television rights and profile off the back of a string of English mercenaries.
Itās no wonder o brien pulled the funding.
Uefa is the right place for John Delaney, with someone else picking up the tab.
