You’ve got those threads all wrapped up yourself, buddy.

Next Sunday I reckon pal. Away game, playing a better team, will be losing and some marginal calls will go against him as it does all teams. I’d hope he know the rules of the game before he runs his mouth off after the game.

Finally got a chance to see the “highlights” and watch poor Dempsey getting “hacked” down. Some of the boyz would want to toughen up a little and stay on their feet rather than throwing themselves down in a heap trying to win frees. I thought that was the point of tackle bags? Maybe we need to use tackle bullocks instead.

Only highlights I know, but it makes for sobering viewing for Mr D. Hannon also.

He actually played really well bar the goal.

At least we are not obsessed with ye. No reason for that.

There were a couple of other “arse out, hurley in” moments from him for McDonald and Doran points also. He has plenty of physicality when he’s in the mood, if they’re serious about playing him at 6 unlocking that will be key. At centre-back he needs to play the man as much, if not more, as playing the ball. Hickey, predictably, supplied a moment of comedy for one of Kehoe’s points, Hickey had him covered but then saw that McDonald was free further out and ran off in the complete opposite direction, leaving Kehoe and the arriving sliothar in absolute acres of space.

Casey’s catch and lay-off for Dempsey’s second goal chance was sublime, a pity Dempsey didn’t just hit it instead of trying to walk it in.

You might pass that memo to your simpleton supporters who were roaring about the 1996 All Ireland Final in Wexford Park on Sunday.

Now youre just telling pork pies ffs :joy:

True, only a true simpleton would speak of '96.

That genuinely never happened.

Who dares to speak of 96…
