John Kiely - Same old Kiely, 🐐 always winning

Deep down Keily knows this. He was starting lads there last week who weren’t near ready yet for this level, ie look I know what I’m doing. It backfired on him bigly though. He is displaying clear symptoms of hubris the last while.

That’s the internet for you… There was a two narky comments passed last weekend and a WHOLE county supposedly had a meltdown.

Waterford will send us home with a cold cup of tae today and we’ll, be written off completely

Who’d want to be King, eh?

Has there ever been a more incediery post match interview?

What’s the WUM angle here? Kiely’s winning All Irelands without even using his best players? :man_shrugging:

Did RL really piss in Kielys cornflakes?

Am I right in saying GAA is one of the only team sports where this happens to such a degree?

Has Timmy never watched a game of soccer football?

Junior soccer in Cork is the worst I’ve ever witnessed for it and the big whiney voices up on them

You have two opponents in soccer… The opposition and the ref, you have to play both.

The Great John Kiely’s post match interview. Very upbeat about the performance from todays experimental side.

Confidence words from Kiely, it will all fall into place by the first round of the Munster championship I’m sure

Kiely knows

Limerick are preparing for the defence of the Mick Mackey and Liam McCarthy cups.

Preparations seem to be going well. These few pre-season league games are a distraction, but provide the opportunity to field a few new players.

JK seems very confident that the team will be ready.

Last line there very telling, you can see how much Mull matters to this side, and well he knows it. Mull will be a calming theraputic infuence on his return and I expect we will see more of the swashbuckling Limerick of old that we all know and love and less of the rubby obsessed klingon mindset that has overcome them of late

I see in his interview post match that Whiney yet again used the phrase “ opposition looks to have a good bit of work done “. It seems bizarre for him to be using that line considering the size & bulk the likes of Hayes, Flanagan & Casey for example have obviously being doing.

Is it perhaps a fair observation that Limerick see power & physical size being a trump card over hurling ability?

Limerick seem now to be where Tipperary were at week 1 of the League, in terms of preparation and training.
