I noticed that alright, @Atticus_Finch would be disgusted
He wouldn’t have been rolling around on the ground at getting a brush that’s for sure
Cork let themselves down.
Did we see Sean Finn roll around on the ground after his helmet was intefered with in the 2nd half.
We did not. He got up straight away - his block on hoggies attempt at a goal in the second half and Nickies penalty save were huge.
Aside from a masterclass from Cian Lynch and Kyle Hayes.
Lot to work on. But we are in a munster final.
Sin è.
Horgan strike was definitely off all night. He was firing the ball way out away from himself.
I can’t ever remember him having a good day against Limerick
That attitude is the difference between players with multiple All Irelands, and players with no All Irelands.
Kyle Hayes should be the paid mayor of Limerick.
He is an outstanding hurlerand Limerick young man.
That was Cahalane at one stage
He would be unbeatable
One of the best to ever do it.
A great young man. A treasure
I’m pretty sure he isnt even 23 years of age yet.
Cian Lynch at times was on a different level today as well. I had him as my motm just about.
Its a real joy to watch those lads.
Finn for me. Just about.
Gave an exhibition
He is out of this world. His reading of the game is outrageous. Best corner back in the country in my opinion by a mile.
Nickie deserves a serious mention too. That was a super save for the penalty.
If this Limerick team all perform this year, they’ll inflict a savage beating on most teams.
There is a lot to work on ahead of the munster final. Great position for Kiely and Kinnerk to be in.
4 of the starting forwards taken off and still won comfortably with 20 wides.
It seems that Limerick supporters are already tired of winning, means nothing of they can’t rub the opponents nose in it .
I’d say they’re a good bunch of lads, probably be as embarrassed by the online support as Cork are about removing their helmets, what a bizarre crusade, I want no more to do with it, I am against all simulation and cheating, but I won’t be getting embarrassed by the acts of some lads from the same county as me
I was surprised it wasn’t noticed by more, did none of the Limerick players try make anyone of it?
I think the issue of simulation in hurling, and I’ve no doubt Limerick would probably do it too, needs highlighting. Cork yesterday was beyond embarrassing, but it’s been happening for a long time. Fellas have been sent off for absolutely nothing and their match, and potentially their season, is destroyed because of it.
Peter Casey has been at it since a minor
He has been quick to go down, but I’ve never seen him rolling around in agony trying to get someone sent off.
The only Limerick player I’ve ever seen do that is Byrnes against Clare in 2018 and I called it embarrassing at the time. That appears to have been a one off (I’ve not seen it from him since) rather than the orchestrated stuff we got from Cork yesterday
He’s a divil for it but then again, everyone thinks they have the prettiest wife at home
