If itâs anything like Rogâs book - a love letter to Michael OâFlynn, then it wonât be up to much.
I think itâs a love letter to Jonny Sexton
Jonny beats to his own drum and tells it how it is .
I read that he didnât take one backwards step behind the written gainline
You guys bottled itâ â Former All Black Israel Dagg slams Johnny Sexton over World Cup spat with Rieko Ioane

The excerpts from Johnny Sextonâs upcoming book have caused quite a stir in New Zealand.
The former Ireland captain detailed the bitter words he exchanged with All Black Rieko Ioane in the moments after his side had come up short in last yearâs World Cup quarter-final.
According to Sexton, Ioane first ordered him back 10m after Wayne Barnes had awarded a penalty, before goading the out-half by saying âDonât miss your flight tomorrow. Enjoy your retirement, you c***.â
Sexton responded by calling Ioane a âfake humble f***erâ, citing the All Blacksâ âNo Dickheadsâ policy.
The bad blood appears to date back to Irelandâs 2022 series win over New Zealand and a disputed claim about an exchange between Peter OâMahony and Sam Cane.
And Sextonâs account will add spice to the rivalry ahead of next monthâs meeting between the sides at the Aviva Stadium, with former All Black Israel Dagg describing the 2018 World Player of the Year as a âpimpleâ he canât get rid of and dismissing his account on a New Zealand radio show.

âJust accept it, mate. Give it a rest,â Dagg said.
âIreland tend to throw a lot of chat out there because theyâre winning in between World Cups, but come World Cups â you just donât. You donât win it.â
Dagg believes Sexton misunderstood the All Blacksâ policy, while he also said Ireland reaped what they sowed in the sledging stakes.
âObviously the comments were pretty harsh and they probably hurt your feelings. But you were retiring,â he added.
âPeople donât forget when you toured New Zealand and you said some things to our very own All Blacks. Theyâre going to bottle that up for the big occasions.

âThey bottled it up nicely and you guys bottled it over there in the quarter-finals. Thatâs just the way it goes.
âWe carry ourselves in a way that we donât want to sound arrogant. We want to show humility a little bit. But when you fire something, youâve got to expect a return, and thatâs whatâs happened here.
â(Ioane) is standing up for Sammy Cane and Brodie Retallick. Pete OâMahony threw out some chat. Well, you just lost the quarter-final â time to go home.â
I wanted to quote parts of that to give it the âOOOOFTâ, but the whole fucking thing is an ooooft. This part is poetry.
Beautiful. If youâre gonna talk it, you better walk it.
Brilliant
Sexton surrounded by too many yes men. Some kiwi tells him to get fucked and he throws the toys out of the pram. Alright for him to roar at ROG thoughâŚ
Didnt think you were a rubby man mate?
Outstanding
Utterly bizarre sexton is so upset by losing the lions series.
Itâs like Tom Brady or tiger woods moaning about a pro bowl or a Ryder cup.
I can imagine Ioane didnât understand the D4 twang.
Calling him a fake humble fucker on the field in a World Cup knock out game. Iâd say that really hurt Ioaneđ
Johnny hardly needs to make this much of a show of himself to sell the book
Itâs a complete lack of awareness. The lions stuff is utterly bizarre.
They hold it against Gatland for dropping BOD in 2013 but then continually talk about how they are willing to do anything to win.
Itâs crazy stuff but goes a long way to see why leinster and Ireland keep losing so many tight games that are important.
thats a lovely dig too.
Peter o Mahoney must feel like some numpty
Thatâs Irish smugby in a nutshell
I might buy this book. Hilarious stuff
