Heās retiring after the RWC, what if heās banned for longer than that or banned for most of it?
Not their issue.
I suppose technically they can ban him for 200 years but they canāt retire him
What a bitchy comment.
@BruidheanChaorthainn is saying they canāt let the fact he is retiring prejudice their decision
Iām lost ?
Ah Jesus, that was fierce mean of me
Nah just a bit bitchy
The ban will be in weeks and starts before the first
Meaningful fixture heāll due to be involved in so I presume thatās the Irish pre season World Cup games. I donāt think Leinster have any fixtures before them.
Iām going to hazard a guess heāll get 12 weeks with six suspended.
So heāll be back for the middle of the World Cup group stage.
The fact heās retiring makes no difference.
Six months. Fuck thatās his career over so. And Irelands World cup dreams up in smoke again
Is there an appeal process? Thatās a serious statement from the rubby crowd, didnāt think they would do it.
respect to refs is huge in rugby, right call
andy farrell is never gonna give him up
Terrible shame, heās let down Ireland here.
Could Sam Prendergast be a bolter for the World Cup or would he need senior gametime for Leinster to enter the equation?
No.
not a chance
crazy suggestion
For now but heās not finished yet. Heās never gonna say goodbye.
Play him sure BOD was only a chap and he scoring hat tricks over there
Yeah heās 20 since February. Youād swear he was 17 the way lads reacted here. Handre Pollard and Dan Carter were regulars at international level by the age of 21. The fact Prendergast only has 2 caps for Leinster though would stand against him.
Our best out-half outside of Sexton is a certain PJ who is ineligible. In the unlikely event that Sexton were to be suspended then what three (3) out-halves go? Ross Byrne, Jack Crowley and Joey Carbery? Although Iāve seen it muted that we only take two and the likes of Henshaw offer cover.
So Ireland havenāt got much of a hope from looking at PP? Thought it was going to be a tighter match than that.
