Jose Mourinho - Busted Flush?

He does now.

A lovely man Jose. Unfortunate that it didn’t work out for him at White Hart Lane and that Spurs were the team that broke him.

Just after seeing this on Pundit Arena. Apparently Celtic have approached him.

He surely can’t make them worse .

Have Roma a ‘war chest’ or is Jose happy to build carefully and patiently over the next few years?

New owners but huge financial issues at present.

This is fantastic news

Grazie Roma

Fucking hell, what an incredible appointment. Delighted for both club and man, thoroughly alright sorts.

Yeesh. Take your pick from the following.

  • new owners underestimate or disregard altogether the financial issues and splurge because Jose needs players goddammit, even when he’s not managing. The next owners can worry about the repayments
  • new owners approach their ownership prudently and on a sound financial basis and once Jose gets wind of this, he’s out the gate with the usual compo package

Jose continuing his steady path down the food chain.

Monchi effectively destroyed Roma.

They had a black hole in their accounts but had kept the club in decent shape thanks to Sabatini’s ability to find players and sell them on then for over double what they paid.

You look at Lamela, Marquinhos, Salah, Allison, Rudiger, Emerson, Nainggolan, Manolas etc all found by Sabatini and probably the guts of 200m profit on them there.

Monchi came along and bought flops like Schick, Pastore, Nzonzi, Lopez and soon Roma didn’t have any big players to flog to fill the gap.

Biggest worry for me is the attack, it’s old and past it - guys like Pedro, Mykhi and Dzeko can’t be your front three. You could maybe use one of them at the one time but can’t have all three there.

Hopefully he can find place for Under and Kluivert if they come back from their loan spells.

Best of luck to Jose. Hope it works out for him. A lovely man.

Should be a good saving on Compo for Levy?

Inter Miami CF are excited to announce Jose Mourinho as it’s new head coach. 22 March 2022

The cult of Mourinho is gas

I remember seeing a video of Jose tapping up Justin Kluivert after the 2017 Europa League Final where he told him he’d come in for him in a years time and they’d win everything together. He’s some plamaser😅

Once you’re a football manager (except Dave O’Leary) it seems you can go from job to job after any removal.
