I must say how impressed I am with Keano at Sunderland. I didn’t think it was possible for him to become any more of a legend after his heroic stand in Saipan but he has managed it. He has taken a team from the bottom of a division where the football is of the very highest standard to being in with a chance of promotion into the most competitive league in the world. A true great Irishman
The only blotch on his copybook was teaming up with that ginger idiot Gordon Strachan at Celtic. Not only is he a complete fool but he clearly is a poor manager as his record with Coventry showed when he got relegated from the Premiership. He may have won a league with Celtic but its hardly comparable with the Premiership

Lighter. Touchpaper. Fireworks.
Can’t believe rock ruined this one.
It could have been off the hook.
Re: Saipan the fullness of time will show that Keane was right to blow a fuse about Saipan. Almost 5 years on and the FAI is still a bloody shambles. I used to take comfort in the fact that at least Keane walking out/being sent home would be a watershed moment and the FAI would change for the better but that hasnt really happened. Sure there are some improvements but our senior team and everything to do with it is a f**kin joke. One example I came across recently was in the ticket allocations for Croker, an eight year block booker who has taken four tickets for every home match in the last eight years got their allocation for the Wales Slovakia matches and their four tickets are all in different places! Jesus how hard is it to seat people together!
In case you were wondering I got good tickets. Centre of Ardan Hogan.
generally most football fans & I mean real football fans in Europe shy away from internationals in favour of their clubs
So your’e a real football fan if you don’t support you’re country
