We did it once when we were very young a few years back. A friend had his dad’s audi for the weekend. We headed straight for Murphy’s. January night. 6 or 7 pints in and its about 10 at night. Take the Conor pass thinking we were Colin McCrae with tunes blaring. Dawned on me fairly quickly how stupid we were and lucky we didn’t kill ourselves that night but only recently i realised we were lucky we didn’t kill some innocent sole on the road. The innocence of youth is unreal.
