Kilkenny GAA thread

I understand by all accounts Bonnar is a gentleman. The whole affair seems to have been rushed at best. Im sure they could have come to some agreement re the wording . The way its all panned out has left a sour taste in both Tipp and Waterford and in hindsight may well affect both their chances of progression next year

It was doing the rounds that Cahill was in before Bonnar was out.

But sure it was an easy rumour to get right.

Bonnar was a dead man walking unfortunately. For him. And every other hurling county.

He is. But he’d have a little bit of a stubborn streak as well. He was given the opportunity to leave gracefully and declined.

A lovely man.

But incredibly bad with names.

It was like Mike Bassett England Manager him landing the job

What are you on about? :joy:

Things cannot get worse for Tipperary. We will progress next year. We might even beat Kerry.

Apologies Kilkenny lads for hijacking yer thread, but sure Tipp are always box office even when we are in the gutter

In fairness to Mike, he’s two bottles of Red in on his 12th viewing of Sunday’s match

Nicely put by Westside this week:

“Some on TV and social media immediately jumped on the bandwagon to throw predictable digs at the County Board. I wouldn’t be taking lectures from any of those. They likely know little about the background to events and would have even less interest in the wellbeing of Tipperary hurling.”

The CB made the correct decision, time to move on and leave us worry about our own house.

Liam Sheedy at 3:04ish on radio one on Sunday said it was time Liam Cahill came home maybe, see if he has the stuff. He then said we don’t know what sort of secret talks go on these days in the background.

He was on tv so must have been pre recorded. He basically said Cahill was done and dusted.

It was known 2 weeks ago he was back ffs.

Still being denied though officially

Sure there was no point in letting someone go until you had someone lined up. That would be poor administration

I think we are all United in our interest in the well being of Tipp hurling.

Interest to see it in the doldrums obviously.

Obviously they will deny it but that’s what happened.

As @peddlerscross says, obsessed would be an understatement.

I suppose we are the sports premium team. The biggest job in hurling.

Ah Jesus lads saw the 41 unread posts and presumed Cody was gone
