Peter Barry was an unbelievable soccer player. Hands down about the best I played with.
There are lads with Fitz medals and under 20/1 all irelands and intermediate all irelands as hurlers who weren’t and aren’t good enough to make it as senior inter county hurlers. And vice versa in football.
It just doesn’t work like that at the very top level.

There is no rhythm or relation to what is happening with football in Kilkenny with Wexford and Tipp. Kilkenny are playing a weekend championship. They’re so bad, they opted out.
