Peter Barry was an unbelievable soccer player. Hands down about the best I played with.
There are lads with Fitz medals and under 20/1 all irelands and intermediate all irelands as hurlers who weren’t and aren’t good enough to make it as senior inter county hurlers. And vice versa in football.
It just doesn’t work like that at the very top level.

There is no rhythm or relation to what is happening with football in Kilkenny with Wexford and Tipp. Kilkenny are playing a weekend championship. They’re so bad, they opted out.

@Bandage’s brother used to do the Wx one. It was one of, if not the best in the country. He stopped as co. PRO, the co. board stopped doing it. The work is thankless, but he put some amount of effort into it.

The KK one has 210 pages this year. Mostly stuff sent in from clubs filling it I suppose but it all has to be checked and organised.
