Christ. Limerick wouldn’t be one of the strongest munster teams

‘Up in likerick’

@Fagan_ODowd didnt write that

Clare beat us well a few weeks back although they’ll be one of the favourites for the all Ireland

Watched the 20s game on Saturday. Poor enough first outing but maybe conditions and pitch had a bit to do with that. Surface on Hawkfield is not brilliant and wind was very strong.
Only 3 points in this with 10 to go, KK did push on and finished the stronger. Kildare had a chance to reduce it to two but didn’t take it.
KK backs were well on top TBF, Barcoe was MOTM, with Buggy showing well at midfield. Up front Lacey got a great goal and Jake Mullen was dangerous.
For Kildare, corner back with the flowing locks, Devine played very well and hurled a mountain of ball. From a club called Cappa that wouldn’t be noted as strong club. Two Seniors Tim Ryan at midfield and young Power from Maynooth who I think was only minor last year was very good on the frees and in open play.
Big improvement required by Shefflins team if they’re going to trouble Galway.

The brother was there too. He said pretty much the same as yourself, was impressed with Barcoe. Great to get a Lockes man on the pitch too, got a point too.

Yeah, he’s got a bit of pace about him aswell.

He young though. Just out of minor. We’ll see. We’re pinning a lot of hopes on him and a few others coming through.

The Lockes won the Féile though. Second time in the last few years. Green shoots.
