Are the minors any good this year lads?
I know very little about them.
My usual supply of the KK People has been poor of late.
I had heard that they were very good but they looked ordinary enough the only time I was them against Galwa, who like their u21s just looked stronger, fitter, sharper and better trained. As usual we had a few good individuals, including the full back from O’Loughlins, a midfielder from the Village and Brennan the centre forward from Bennettsbridge.
I googled Brennan there. Looks like he’s handy at the soccer as well. Pity as we’d say in KIlkenny.
Is inter county minor U17 now?
Yes
You can see the difference in the standard. A year makes a big difference at that age.
Is all minor club hurling U17 also?
Minor is still u18 in Tipp but not sure about other counties
Pretty sure club minor has remained 18 in nearly all counties
The change from U18 to U17 is all a bit of a shambles so…
