So far as adult success goes, I think those titles are about it. He might have been involved with successful underage Village teams – probably was – but not clued in on that end of matters.
Well, the 1978-91 team won nine Senior titles and three Club All Irelands in 14 seasons.
The 2005-18 team has won seven Senior titles and four Club All Irelands in 14 seasons.
So… Much of a muchness.
And much wants more… The view in the club is that we should have won at least two more Senior titles 2010-2017. Probably should have won four more, in fact. But different things happened in different seasons. 2013 saw, among its factors, 2012’s victorious first choice midfield of Michael Fennelly and Éamonn Walsh unavailable through injury.
I’ve had premium and/or Corporate tickets for most of the KK/Tipp finals over the past 10 years and at no point have had to display tickets for scanning etc.
