Only a theory but the small amount of clubs at each level and the relegation/promotion each year means that most clubs won’t consistently play each other every year or local rivals won’t play each other every year as often, bar the city clubs maybe. The divisions in Tipp guard against this
Very unsavoury, they are hated by the other 2 town clubs and a few more around the county.
That’s spot on . A small amount of clubs across the county spread over 3 grades means the combo of playing a neighbour at regular interval at competitive level is few and far between. Human nature always finds an exception but the only real enduring one I can think of is Graigue and Tullaroan where they’ve actually managed to follow each other up and down and up again through the inter/senior grades.
We kicked lumps out of Callan a good few years back below in Piltown and I don’t think they ever got over it
Mooncoin…2003/04 ish?
One Callan player was trun* up again d’wire and a knuckle dragging Mooncoiner caught him as his player clubman bate into him
Speaking south KK to @Fran so that he’ll understand.
That’s about right
He was like an aul bullick tangled up in the bard wire fence abroad in the haggard
Good start for Tullaroan here
Oh keeper
Derek Lyng thrown off on the grass laughing his hole off at Fennelly there.
Ref is riding Tullaroan roughshod here.
Is this a young fella of Cody’s reffing this?
Donnachadh Cody? Didn’t realize he was a ref.
Tullaroan might just get this done.
Some performance from Tullaroan
Working like dogs.
Ballyhale goal, draw game now.
Fuck sake
Fine game, Tullaroan will be happy with that result truth told.
