Brutal by Izaguirre in particular but nobody covered across for him either. Celtic have been really slack bar that little spell when the glut of goals came.
Yeah someone should have stepped across but he got back beyond Clohessy and still made a miserable effort to stop his run the second time. But we allowed a guy to pass the ball into the net because he stepped inside one defender out on the flank initially.
Of course their first goal came from a ridiculous refereeing decision. That was never a free kick.
Sky didn’t show this in their analysis so I rewound to have another look. It’s a really really poor decision. Van Dijk does everything to avoid fouling Gardyne who controls the ball with his arm and then clips his own heels and falls on the ball with his hands and the ref gives a free to him. Shocking.
Playing much better this half. Good passing and creating some pressure.
Barry Nicholson should be off by now. Two of the clearest yellow card offences you could ever see and he’s not even booked. Appalling refereeing.
Smashing effort from Pukki there smacks the bar. He’s had a few nice touches but not involved enough. Stokes hasn’t been brilliant either mind.

It was a dreadful decision not to play Stokes in. Took it well in the end but it was a far from convincing run. Decent ball now to play Lustig in behind.
