One bullet bang bang. Was it the shithole description that gave it away? No one has named no.2 yet either

Rathkeale actually has a surprising low level of crime. Dont piss on your own doorstep an all that

Carrick On Suir
Question for ye.

Town with the highest crime rate in Munster per head of population?
Carrick On Suir is the right answer id say,its after turning into one tough spot in recent Years, most of em drink and coke up at home before hitting the streets to cause mayhem, the cunts living there would make Clonmels scumbags look like a law abiding hard working bunch.

Nope

Nee Nah?

I had a feed of beer in Tipp town last Saturday on my way to another place, went into a place on main street called Noel Ryans, good beer and a nice clean spot in fairness to him, nobody tried to hop the shite out of us either, all in all an enjoyable few Hours,Tipp Town,a grand spot:thumbsup:

Tralee?

No although that is an absolute shit hole

When you said shit hole. Tipperary Town came straight into my head to be honest.

Bruff has a very low crime rate, what with them being garrisoned with 41 Gardai.

More stabbings in Mayo

By Tom Shiel

Monday August 17 2009

A SPATE of stabbings in the west continued as four men were injured in one town in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Two men were stabbed in the neck in one street attack in Ballinrobe, Co Mayo, shortly after an earlier incident when two other men were assaulted in the town. It is understood the attacks are connected and that all of the injured men had earlier attended a nightclub in Ballinrobe.

The two stab victims, aged 20 and 31, were assaulted by a group of men on the Neale Road in the town early yesterday morning.

They were both taken to hospital in Castlebar for treatment, where their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

The knife attacks occurred shortly after a separate incident in the town, when two men were assaulted while walking along New Street.

These men were punched and kicked, according to gardai.

The pair were also taken to Castlebar General Hospital, where one of the men was later released.

The most badly hurt victim of the Ballinrobe attacks, a 27-year-old man, was transferred to Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, yesterday with serious head injuries.

No arrests had been made in relation to either incident, and investigations were continuing last night.

Gardai issued an appeal for witnesses.

Damien Ryan, a member of Mayo County Council, called for the dedication of greater garda resources to Ballinrobe.

"It is very hard for the gardai, who are unresourced locally at the moment, to deal with the problem, especially at weekends.

Condemned

“The whole garda emphasis now needs to shift to deal with the worsening public order situation.”

In a seven-day period, there has been an upsurge of knife violence in the region which has left one man dead and a number of others, including a garda officer, seriously injured. The attacks have been condemned by community and political leaders

Man in 60s beaten during Co Mayo burglary

Monday August 17 2009

A man in his 60s is recovering in hospital after being beaten during a robbery at his home in Co Mayo last night.

The break-in happened in Charlestown at around 10pm.

The occupant of the house received injuries to his arm and leg and was taken to Mayo General Hospital.

A man was later arrested in connection with the incident and is being questioned at Swinford Garda Station.

Runt, have you lot shipped some folk up the Western coast lately? Perhaps they might be on holidays?

Perhaps we could have moved some people up ther while the regeneration was taking place. It has had a similar affect on County Limerick.
