How are things looking for this round I imagine Portumna, Thomas’s and Loughrea will be favourites.
There’ll be at least one draw out of those games probably the Ardrahan game.
Very hard to see an upset from those three games, beagh will have to be the surprise team in the semis but its not that much of a surprise.
There’ll have to be a few draws because it’d be madness to get the county final played before November
Port,castle and lough
Portumna and Ardrahan 1-12 a piece sounds like a good game. Portumna have hit 13 wides so far with 5 minutes to go
Draw for the semi finals to be played in two weeks
Portumna v St Thomas’s
Beagh v Loughrea
Hon Beagh the peoples choice

I would love to hear the attempts of forum members to pronounce Beagh if they are unfamiliar with the place. Could such members post their phonetic spelling attempts here please.
Baha
Damien Hayes hit an injury time winner for Port. Sounded like a great game.
Heard Maher got sent off for Loughrea again. I reckon Beagh will do them in the semi. Though they better sober up soon after the wedding yesterday.
Port V Thomas should cause a bit of a stir…

Sundays a perfect platform for what we do best in Galway… let Thomases and Portumna sow it into each other using a local overawed ref and above all ensure that every bad belt is NOT left on the pitch… Let them grudges build up and distill away in the background and lets make sure that when it comes to the crunch in 2014 that these grudges come come to the boil.
If the Galway county board have any sense they’ll appoint an outside ref for this game.
Saying that I am looking forward to Sundays double header
Would LOVE to go.

wtf did this St Thomas\Portumna alleged hatred come from?
Everyone in Galway seemed to be in a happy camp last year. Is this thing exaggerated?
Rumor has it that jc has been the target of a little jostling both on and off the field but nothing new in that.
yes. race week shouldering competitons dont count though.
