This music was better back in my prime years debate is exactly what the zionists want lads! You’re playing into their hands.

But surely the Zionists would want you to think you’re playing into their hands by discussing when music better.

It’s like when people say there’s loads of Russian disinformation out there designed to sow chaos and then some very smart fella and intellectual like Shaney comes along and says the Russians aren’t putting out any disinformation at all and they’re laughing at people mistakenly thinking they’re reading Russian disinformation.

I love debates like these when lads who have nothing to contribute to such debates because they don’t actually have any knowledge to contribute but at the same time want to try and signal they might want to give some form of half baked opinion they aren’t equipped to give which they have to try and communicate in some way because this is the INTERNET and you can’t NOT have an opinion, weigh in with a link to some article, which saves them having to actually express an opinion they aren’t equipped to give.

Way to demonstrate your inability to see beyond your own narrow viewpoint.

I’m giving my opinion. That’s sort of what this forum is there to do.

What would be very misogynist is to pretend to like a shite, monotonous song by a female artist on the basis that it was done by a female artist.

I do like Naughty Girl by Beyonce however not just on the basis that it’s a good song but also because in the video Beyonce frolicks about and gets wet in an oversized novelty glass of champagne while showing a lot of flesh and miming sex acts.

Crazy in Love is an excellent song,

And I wouldn’t be a fan of BeyoncĂ© or Jay Z but that is a cracker.

This is as good as a pop single gets.

Dig up mate.

I have a funny feeling there are pop singles out there which are actually better, but it was inescapable anyway. As was Hot In Here by Nelly.

Seeing as people want to introduce psychology rather than debate the actual merits of music, there’s a tremnenjus tendency with people who write about music to go big on recency bias.

As in, that song you know the hook of from last year that’s a bit mediocre but isn’t total shite, let’s stick that straight in at number two on the all time greatest singles list.

Clickety click.

“Dig up” is a Simpsons quote meant to be aimed at people who are losing an argument.

Resorting to accusations of misogyny against somebody because somebody doesn’t like a song or because they correctly identify the exact target marget of that artist’s appeal is a dead giveaway of a person losing an argument.

I hated that Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest and shure I suppose that makes me an anti-Semite too.

No you said that Beyoncé is popular because she is gorgeous and has a lovely arse.

Pretty black and white to me.

That’s mainly why she’s popular and good luck to her for it.

Says who?

You?

You don’t like one of her songs which is actually widely acclaimed.

:rofl::rofl:

No rapper is an artist ffs

Africa by Toto is also widely acclaimed.

Again, demonstrating your inability to see beyond your own narrow viewpoint.

Heeeeyyyyy Baby by DJ Otzi was an inescapable song of the 21st century.

Widely panned at the time, it has endured as a classic.

This post means literally nothing. I’d say you think it sounds intelligent.
