We’ve the goal against Tipp playing on a loop in the factory in Bangladesh

Is that where the Fruit of the loom factory is these days?

Aren’t all clothes made over that part of the world?

Lots are. Textile manufacturing is fairly light footed (like it’s workers).
If folk want ten t shirts for twenty quid, ultra cheap labour is the only option.

It is actually pretty easy to fracture an eye socket. This case, I dunno, if your man was minding his own business and set upon like that then there should be meaningful punishment whatever that is.
It will descend into a Mish mash of who did what to whom with the separate defense teams working the cement mixers as they are paid to.
There’s half of you never wants a harsh punishment for a few minutes of madness, but then you think if it was your lad was set upon you’d want a criminal record for the perpetrators. If your lad was accused you’d be ashamed and mad, but you’d be doing everything in your power to avoid one.
Hard to see how jailing anyone could possibly be constructive no matter what.
I was involved as a witness in a case once of an assault with a stiletto show where the lass (both young wans) got 18 months, and seeing her and that haunts me, and always will. I don’t like even thinking about it.

Trust me, that was a remarkably pleasant welcome. You need to realise that about 80% of posts here are just trying to wind lads up. At least half are aimed at manyoohorseyhorse

One of the Gardai stood by his statement and what he saw. Defence tried to say cctv showed the victim being escorted out by security but not the defendant. Muddying waters

The Garda?

It was in the first day’s evidence that the victim was thrown out and Hayes et al left under their own steam, the defence is going to keep emphasising that part obviously

It’s what a defence are supposed to do. Creating doubt

are they trying to blame the door staff or the youngfella that got the kicking? Saying he had a chance to walk away but stayed for a more of a fight?

Muddying the waters as said above

doesn’t seem like much of a case against the evidence.
