La Liga 2012/13

Leo on 84 for the year now, just one away from Gerd Mullerā€™s record.

There must be a genuine chance of Mourinho being sacked if Royal Madrid lose this derby match. Fail to win and their league title challenge is certainly over. I expect them to win, however, with Cristiano Ronaldo to chip in with at least one goal. Should be a good one whatever happens, the most anticipated Madrid derby for a long time.

As a current neutral (whoā€™s supported both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in the past), Iā€™d happily accept a score draw tonight.

Ronaldo with one of his trademark twice a year free kicks puts Royal 1-0 up. I look forward to his next one in the return match at the Vicente Calderon in April.

2-0 Real, was it any good?

No. Atletico never got going at all.

Atletico were very negative. First half was full of fouling and vindictive score settling. Real started to play in the second half and should have scored a couple more. Ronaldo hit the woodwork twice and Atletico barely had a shot.

Goal 85 there from Messi. Nice goal.

Make that 86

86 & more to come.

Wonderful scenes

I thank God heā€™s Argentinian. Argentina will walk the next World Cup.

Five goal haul for Falcao earlier :o

What a miss! Incredible scenes.

What a player this Falcao is.

Christ that was some equaliser.

A peach.

hijos putasā€¦vamos los rojiblancos !!!..

Messi

There arenā€™t enough  you can give the man. Falcao lived up to his side of the bargain too though in fairness.
